Moody Blues Bulldogges Puppy Purchase Agreement

The buyer hereby agrees to purchase the puppy “nick-named”___________ from Moody Blues Bulldogges for the price of $__________. (Shipping is additional if pick-up cannot be arranged).  The name of the puppies’ father is _______________ and the name of the puppies’ mother is_____________.

The seller agrees to furnish the buyer with the necessary health information, including all vaccination & worming records.  The purebred IOEBA or OBBA registration application paperwork will be mailed to the buyer when the seller receives them from the Registry.  The buyer understands this puppy will be eligible for permanent registration with the IOEBA or OBBA.

DEPOSITS/ PAYMENTS/SHIPPING:

       All puppies require a $500.00 deposit. Acceptable methods of payment are money orders, cashier’s checks, or with a major credit card through PayPal (If PayPal is used please add 3% to cover their fees) or Money Gram.  Once Moody Blues Bulldogges receives the deposit, the puppy will be marked & considered sold.

       Choice of puppy is determined on a first come (deposit received) first choose basis.  The puppy will be placed on hold for 4 business days while waiting for a deposit.  If the deposit is not received in that time,  the puppy will be placed back up for sale.

     Deposits/payments are NON REFUNDABLE!  The only exception is  cases of premature death prior to the delivery of your puppy.  If you change your mind & do not want or cannot take your puppy, you forfeit your deposit and or any money received.

      The balance on your puppy is due by the time the puppy is six weeks old. If both parties mutually agree upon payment of balance for the pup at the time of pick up, CASH is the only acceptable means of payment. This requirement is due to the prevalence of check fraud & the need to have time for a check to clear our bank.  If balance isn't received, your deposit or payments will be forfeited & the pup will then be placed back up for sale.

       This puppy is being sold (      ) with breeding rights for an additional fee of $_________ or (      ) without breeding rights. If sold  with breeding rights the purebred IOEBA or  OBBA registration application paperwork will be mailed to the buyer once the seller receives them from the registry. If sold without breeding rights, the puppy must be spayed/neutered by 8 months old. When proof of spay/neuter (copy of vet statement identifying dog) is provided to seller, the seller will supply registration papers at that time. Failure to comply will result in seller not supplying registration papers.  

       Shipping by ground is available at the expense of the buyer within the continental USA.  Some Airlines will no longer ship bulldogs cargo, or have a time period when shipping is available as cargo. If you prefer to fly, you can fly with the pup in the cabin as long as the crate fits under the seat. If method is chosen, then shipping is set up by the buyer.  You can also opt to have a nanny fly with your pup in the cabin for an additional fee, if this method is chosen then shipping is set up by the seller. Older puppies are shipped at the expense of the buyer. All costs of shipping, including health certificates, transportation crate, & any other costs will be incurred at the expense of the buyer.

    Buyer will pick up puppy by the time it is eight weeks old, or the puppy will be shipped by the time it is eight weeks old. If ten days have passed & no attempts have been made to make arrangements with Moody Blues, the buyer then forfeits the pup & any deposits or payments made on puppy/dog.

THIS PUPPY IS GUARANTEED AS FOLLOWS:

        T o be in good physical condition for the first 72 hours after the time of shipping.  The buyer agrees to have the puppy examined by a veterinarian within 72 hours after delivery time for a complete physical examination.  Failure of the buyer to take said puppy to the vet for a physical examination within 72 hours of shipping voids the puppy warranty in full.  If a veterinarian finds the puppy to have a contagious disease or to have a serious physical condition other than a bacterial infection, such as coccidian or Giardia which are easily treated, the seller will replace the puppy of the same sex, of comparable or better quality, when available from the same or upcoming litter, after the first puppy is returned to the seller. All replacement puppies will be chosen by Moody Blues Bulldogges. The seller reserves the right to a second veterinarian opinion at the expense of the seller. No cash refunds given & we will not pay any vet bills.

       To be free from any genetic/hereditary defects that cause death or serious impairment of the vital functions in the puppy until said puppy is one year of age. Any problems associated with hips will not be covered at all until the puppy is at least 18 months old. Hips will then be covered until said puppy is 24 months old. If such an inheritable defect is documented by a veterinarian & presented to the seller with sufficient supporting evidence (I.E. copy of vet exam & explanation sheet), the buyer  will be entitled to a replacement puppy of the same sex, of  comparable or better quality, when available from the same or upcoming litter. After the first puppy is returned to the seller. All replacement puppies will be chosen by Moody Blues Bulldogges. In addition, bulldogges can have eye & skin problems. These are defects of the breed & will not be covered. No cash refunds given & we will not pay vet bills.

       Puppies are considered high risk for Coccidia & Giardia. These health issues are easily treatable. They are often brought on by the stress of shipping, a new home, new food, new people, change of climate or surroundings. Shipped puppies  seem more prone to showing symptoms of Coccidia or Giardia. Another issue that may arise with the shipping and or the stress of moving into a new home is kennel cough (Bordatella-raspy cough). Kennel cough, Coccidia or Giardia on their own are not life threatening. All puppies are treated & vaccinated for Coccidia, Giardia & kennel cough before they leave. Vaccination however is not a guarantee the puppy will  not respond to the above issues. Such issues can still arise but if they do, they are rarely serious & are easily treated. We will not cover the treatment for them.

       Puppies will be current on vaccinations & worming, depending on age. No replacements will be given in case of Parvo.

       It is understood that at the time of this sale the puppy is not considered to be of show quality or breeding quality. It is represented as its breed & is suited as pet quality only.

THE BUYER AGREES:

       To provide a safe environment for the new puppy. This includes maintaining up to date vaccines, de-wormer, & to keep the dog/puppy in good conditions, providing proper food, water & shelter & lots of love.

       To at all times use the kennel name “ Moody Blues ” as the kennel prefix in the registered name as well as the leading prefix in said dogs name in any advertisement of this dog, whether in print or photo publication.

       In the event that the dog is later sold or transferred from the possession of the buyer, for whatever reason, the seller will have the absolute right of first refusal to repurchase the dog for a sum not to exceed the original purchase price. This guarantee is not transferable from the original purchaser.

        If your dog is used in any sort of illegal activity(i.e. dog fighting) in any extreme sports (i.e. weight pulling), or is mistreated, malnourished, abused or not taken care of, this guarantee is completely null & void. Moody Blues does not tolerate abuse or neglect to any animal if such behavior is brought to our attention the pup/dog will be returned to Moody Blues.

       The seller is not responsible  for any person or animal bitten or hurt by your dog. The training & behavior of animals after we sell & transfer ownership is the responsibility of the buyer.

 Bulldogges, as the name implies, can be determined. It is recommended, but not required, that you consider professional training with your puppy when it is younger. You will be thankful & much happier when your puppy is older.

The buyer & seller agree that this is the full & complete agreement that exists between the parties for the sale of this dog. Any agreements made prior to this are considered incorporated herein & any modifications made to this agreement shall be made in writing or such shall not be effective.

Moody Blues reserves the right to terminate this contract & refuse sale to any party who does not put the interests of the pup/dog first.

The buyer agrees that Moody Blues does not breed for or guarantee color of any puppy/dog.
